Founder & CEO of TheBoardroom Africa (TBR Africa) | Advocate for Inclusive Leadership | Corporate Governance & Diversity Expert

I am the Founder and CEO of TheBoardroom Africa (TBR Africa), the largest regional network of board-ready female executives across Africa and the diaspora. Founded in 2016, TBR Africa is driven by a bold mission: to accelerate the appointment of women to corporate boards, build a robust pipeline of board-ready women, and inspire the global business community to embrace the transformative power of diverse leadership.

Championing Inclusive Leadership

I am passionate about addressing systemic leadership gaps by advocating for the inclusion of women—particularly African women and women of color—in leadership and decision-making spaces. My mission is to build influential communities that drive change, lead critical conversations, and connect voices across sectors and industries to reshape the global leadership narrative.

Through my work, I have helped countless organizations understand the tangible benefits of diverse leadership and inspired a new generation of leaders to prioritize inclusion as a core value.

Transforming Corporate Governance & Leadership

At TBR Africa, we pioneer innovative approaches to corporate governance and gender diversity, reshaping the presence and influence of African women on a global stage. By fostering connections among board-ready women and equipping them with the tools to succeed, we are building a legacy of inclusive leadership that transcends borders.

I truly believe that sustainable solutions to complex global challenges can only emerge when women—especially women of color—are prioritized and empowered to lead. Their perspectives, experiences, and expertise are essential to crafting forward-thinking strategies for global progress.

Global Impact & Thought Leadership

I write regularly on issues of corporate governance, leadership, and diversity, and I critically interrogate the role African women play in addressing the world’s most pressing challenges. My insights inspire organizations to reimagine leadership as a collaborative, inclusive process that embraces diverse voices and perspectives.

  • Networking Platforms that connect women executives across industries and regions.

By championing these efforts, I aim to build a legacy of empowerment and inspire future generations to believe in their potential to lead and transform the world.

Vision for the Future

As we navigate an increasingly complex and interconnected world, I remain steadfast in my commitment to driving systemic change. I envision a future where African women take their rightful place in boardrooms, influencing decisions that shape industries and societies. Together, we can create a world that celebrates diversity, values inclusion, and thrives on the power of shared leadership.
